Fasting: when you wake up and before you eat or drink anything
- Goal: 4.0-7.0 mmol/L
Before Meals
- Goal: 4.0-7.0 mmol/L
After Meals: two hours after your first bite of food
- Goal: 5.0-10.0 mmol/L
Before Exercising
- Goal: 5.0-10.0 mmol/L
Check more often when:
- You’re sick (illness, infection, nausea or vomiting)
